Posted by admin on Oct 31, 2009 under Panic Symptoms

Panic Attacks are an emotional disorder which can completely take over your life. They make you extremely vulnerable, and you constantly question whether another panic attack is on the way. This sometimes results in sufferers being too scared to leave the house, in case they have a panic attack in public. The constant questioning creates fear in your mind, which in turn makes you even more vulnerable to another panic attack.

So what are you able to do to combat this? A relatively quick solution would be to get hold of medications which are known to reduce the panic attack symptoms. Below are just a few:

Beta Blockers

Beta blockers are prescribed to help control rapid heartbeat, trembling and blushing, which are all symptoms of panic attacks. Unlike many other panic attack medications beta blockers do not have too many side effects. Although there can be some, such as, insomnia, short-term memory loss, nightmares, and drowsiness. Like all panic attack medications, beta blockers do not cure the disorder they simply help to easy the symptoms.

Benzodiazepines

Benzodiazepines are used to combat panic attacks and insomnia. With these medications there can be a high risk of addiction, although it is one of the most commonly used to treat panic attacks symptoms. According to some medical professionals Benzodiazepines are successful in over 70% of patients for reducing panic attack symptoms. Benzodiazepines do have a number of possible side effects including drowsiness, decreased mental sharpness, slurred speech, clumsiness, low sex drive, low moods and irritability.

Tricyclic Antidepressants

Tricyclic Antidepressants can be used to treat panic attacks as well as severe depression, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Side effects include constipation, difficulty urinating, blurred vision, loss of sex drive, impotence, weight gain, drowsiness, irritation, and disrupted sleep patterns. These medications are only sort term solutions for panic attacks.

If you are experiencing panic attacks, it could be helpful for you to try some kind of medication. However you need to remember that these medications will not cure panic attacks, they only help to reduce the symptoms. Please consult your physician for advice.

Ten Tips for Safe Online Shopping

Posted by admin on Oct 31, 2009 under Panic Scams

Online shopping is a fun and easy way to shop, and get access to a wide variety of products and services. It is also a convenient way to compare prices of different stores to get the best deals with no legwork involved.

It is therefore not surprising that shopping online has gained phenomenal popularity in recent years due to its convenience, variety and cost. Online stores also often provide the best deals as they may not have the phenomenal overheads that a physical store in a shop or shopping mall might have. Online shopping has also been a great service to people living in less populated areas as they now have access to a greater variety of goods and services that they might never otherwise have.

However, with online shopping so widespread and popular these days, people quite often let their guard down, and ignore safe online shopping practices. This is especially so in peak shopping periods such as Christmas and other holidays, which are opportune times for cyber criminals to strike.

So, how can online shoppers shop safely to avoid an online shopping mishap?

Here are 10 tips for safe online shopping.

1. Buy from online shopping websites that offer secure transactions.
One way is to look out for websites with a graphic of a padlock at the bottom of the screen, which denotes a ’secured gateway’.

2. Beware phishing scams
Avoid sending sensitive data like your credit-card number via e-mail messages. Do also ensure that your security software and firewalls are updated regularly.

3. Change your PIN or password regularly for high-risk Internet activities
Changing your password regularly provides a safeguard in case someone discovers your password. This is especially important if you use shared computers. Avoid letting anyone having access to your account, especially if you have e-mail messages containing passwords that you have just reset.

4. Check that your credit card offers you adequate protection.
Credit cards usually offer buyer protection against fraud, lost shipments, broken merchandise and other problems. However, if you are unsure if your credit card offers all these protections, please contact your credit card provider to check.

5. Ensure you know what you are buying.
Do ask questions if in doubt. Good online stores do usually provide a reasonable description of the item. However, if you have any questions regarding any aspect of the item, please contact the merchant to ask before purchase. Good merchants will respond to you in a timely manner. If they do not respond, it is advisable not to make the purchase as it shows a lack of service and response should you have a problem. It is also usually less hassle not to purchase something you have doubts about in the first place than trying to return an item.

6. Find out all shipping information, including costs, methods offered and delivery times are before you commit to a purchase.
Always calculate the full cost of the item, INCLUDING shipping before you commit to purchase. Many reputable sites will have the shipping costs in a section of their website. However, some unscrupulous online merchants may advertise an item very cheaply, but recover their costs through exorbitant shipping charges.

Delivery times can differ from store to store. Despatch timelines depend on the store’s internal processing and warehousing. Do check how long it will take for the goods to be delivered from the time you place the order. This will help you to avoid disappointment and curb panic should the goods not arrive as per your expectations.

Delivery times can also be affected by the shipping method the store uses, or the method you pay for (should the store offer different methods – see below). Find out the cost and delivery times of each shipping method offered. If this information is not on the site, do contact the merchant to ask. In general, the cheaper a shipping method is, the less secure it is and longer it takes. Also, clearly understand whose responsibility it is to insure the goods in transit. This will help avoid a misunderstanding should the goods be lost or damaged in transit.

7. Record all contact with the merchant.
This means saving all correspondence with the merchant and making a diary note of phone calls, including the date, time and who you spoke to. Record any significant exchanges between you and the merchant.

8. Ensure that the delivery address you provide is valid.

It is useful to read through the details of your order before you confirm your order. Make sure that the delivery address you provide is accurate, including spelling and postcode. Deliveries can and have been delayed or lost because of inaccurate delivery address details.

9. Check your credit card transactions

If you have paid for your online purchase with your credit card, do check your credit card transactions to ensure you have been charged for the goods at the correct price.

10. Save and print the emailed or published invoice that the merchant sends with your order.
This is extremely important as it verifies your order.

While not exhaustive, these simple online shopping safety precautions can help to minimise problems when making a purchase online.

How to Live a Panic Free Life!

Posted by admin on Oct 31, 2009 under Panic Love

A life of fearful thoughts, day and night, is a life of pain, not because you are being threatened by the panic attacks but for the causes, that you no more go out and have fun, you do not relax, you are never happy, you are not laughing loudly, not even smiling, it is because you have stopped living. And the irony of life is that, those who are suffering from panic attacks do not have any valid or practical reason for it.

Do you think you have to live a miserable life like that because you do not have any other option? Well if yes then your thought is wrong, you do have a way out, avoiding certain places or situations are not going to help you. You need to understand the need of the time and be proactive. Let me tell you why you should fight against your panic; because your panic has no practical basis and you can win over your fear with your determination and ‘live happily ever after’.

There are medicines which can give you a feeling of relaxation, like you can buy xanax if your doctor gives you the approval for the same but it would be a temporary cure, if you do not take initiative in changing your habits and practice the art of relaxing. I am not here to bombard you with new tricks and tips of getting over Panic Attack. I already know that there is enough information available on the net but you are not focused enough to follow those advises.

Well, we all should learn to love our self and respect the life given to us by God. It is a blessing and there is enough potential for happiness, you cannot just stop living unless you are completely blind to understand the beckoning of opportunities. I already have said that that escaping the situations or the places when and where you had experienced panic attacks would not help. You have to stand up and face the reality¦ a-a-a-a-ah!! Do I need to repeat every time that your fear is not true? It’s you who is working against your happiness NOTHING else is involved. None but YOU are responsible for your miserable condition and that is why you will have to take the step ahead towards a new life, a life free from fear.

There are a lot of ways to go and ask help from, just open your eyes and wash them with cold water. In case you are crying out of fear, use a wiper to clear out the salt water so that you can see the ways to come out of unnecessary anxiety. You can see a therapist who will advise you in a proper way and advise you medications like xanax online if required. But again, the most important thing is YOUR WILLINGNESS to lead a happy life. Until you are determined, no one and nothing can help you.

Am sure you must be wondering as to why I am emphasizing that only YOU can do it? Because, You, are CAPABLE of fighting against your brain’s child. Your fear is your OWN brain’s imagination, and you are the one who makes it work against you. Now is the time to stand up and say ‘NO’ to your unnecessary fears. Just go ahead and DO it!

Joe Barry Panic Away Review – a Natural Cure for Panic and Anxiety Attack?

Posted by admin on Oct 31, 2009 under Panic Attack

Do you often suffer from panic or anxiety attacks which sometimes cause a great deal of burden with the way you deal with your peers? Recently, I came across a natural panic attack guide by Joe Barry titled Panic away.

Joe Barry Panic away claims to be able help you stop panic and anxiety attacks without the use of panic attack drugs or medication.

If you suffer from panic attacks, then you know how crippling the effects can be. It can cause you to lose concentration and unable to focus on your work and some people even developed low self esteem and confidence as a result of their illness.

Although panic attack drugs can help keep the symptoms of anxiety attacks under control, it does not cure the illness completely and unless you want to be dependable on drugs all your life, I sought to look for alternative panic attack cures and remedies.

Panic away is only about 60 pages long but it provides a step by step approach on how to stop panic attacks in its tracks before it happens. Joe Barry calls it the one move technique and it basically teaches you how to control your breathing whenever a panic attack is approaching.

Most panic attack sufferers know the symptoms before they happen such as heart racing fast, dilated pupils and hands trembling uncontrollably. Panic away relies on you knowing when it is about to happen and how to stop it before it escalates into a full scaled panic attack.

If you are not sure about the Panic Attack symptoms, Joe does provide a checklist of the common symptoms as a reference.

It does take some practice to get used to the breathing techniques taught by Joe but it isn’t difficult. Many people have stop panic attack problems completely using his teachings and if you want to stop relying on drugs and medications for the rest of your life, I recommend you take a look at Panic away.

How do you learn patience?

It seems I have been irritated all my life, I get really annoyed with people and I tend to lash out. Also, when something goes wrong in my life, I tend to panic and I don’t have the patience to wait and think it over calmly. It is causing me to be depressed. I admire those people who are calm and use their common sense. How do you learn patience?

You just have to learn a different approach to how you would us usually react to situations.

Do these physical symptoms often go along with panic attacks?

Posted by admin on Oct 31, 2009 under Panic Symptoms

Everytime I get a panic attack, I not only have the overwhelming very scary feelings of panic and fear. But I also have very miserable physical symptoms that go along with the attacks these symptoms often include nausea, chills, shaking, stomach cramps, diarrhea, lightheadness, feeling disoriented. Does anyone else relate to this, and if you have ever had these physical symptoms as well what do you do make yourself feel better during the attacks? Or these physical symptoms all in our head, or are they our body’s way of reacting to being under such overwhelming fear and anxiety?

i suffer from Panic Attacks and i get several of these symptoms, some of this is due to to much adrenaline, and taking in too much oxygen, and yes partly in our heads too.

How do you deal with a panic attack and is there anything you can do beside taking medication?

Posted by admin on Oct 31, 2009 under Panic Attack

I don’t know exactly what it is, but from reading and researching, I think it is what you all called Panic Attack and it happened to me quite often lately. I sometimes just sat and thought of something and that all it took, I started to panic and my body started to get hot and sweaty. So weird and very scary. It’s like whatever I thought of, trying to take control of my body and my mind. Like the other day, I was in the dentist office, after getting the shot, my body started to shake and I panic. I felt like I was going to die. I had to go to the bathroom and calmed myself down. Or sometimes even a simple thing like thinking about my breaking up and not being able to see my girlfriend anymore… But what would happen if I couldn’t calm myself down ? Is this condition related to not being fit (lack of endorphine)? Is this normal, I mean, does it happen to everyone? What is the best way to deal with it, because I don’t like to depend on medication if I can help it. Please help !

It doesn’t happen to *everyone* but panic attacks aren’t uncommon. You can try deep breathing, meditation, and positive visualization.

But, it would be best to get a checkup with a doctor anyway, just to rule out any physiological causes. Good luck.
