What are some symptoms of a panic attack?

Posted by admin on Jul 30, 2009 under Panic Symptoms

I think I may have had a panic attack the day before yesterday. While in the shower, I became short of breath, felt as if I would pass out, and my heart was pounding. After getting out of the shower, drying, and dressing, I sat for a while (about 20 minutes) until the symptoms went away. Deep breathing helped.

Do you think I may have had a panic attack?

Hi
I’d like to give some solid advice to you about panic attacks. There are many dead ends you can go down tryin to deal with this problem. I have a history of them and now I have dealt with them

When a person has a panic attack they are frozen in fear. This is not cowardice. Panic attacks become a private hidden secret inner prison that destroys a person’s life and self-esteem. A person tries so hard to hide it even from him/herself. Panic attacks come on like a heart attack without a warning. It is a very similar feeling and hard to detect which makes it even scarier. The chest tightens, there is no way to handle the fear factor, the feeling that is paralyzing and comes from out of nowhere. Physical discomfort like a rapid heartbeat, sweating, trembling, hot flashes and trouble swallowing regularly accompany the attacks. Panic attacks usually peak within ten minutes but can last 30 minutes. Sometimes panic attacks can last as long as a day. Many feel very tired and worn out after the attack subsides.

Learning how to stop panic attacks is a priority for the majority of those who have ever experienced them. This is because Panic Attacks are emotionally, mentally and physically draining. Some have gone so far as to describe panic attacks as emotional nightmares.
Although a doctor is a good port of call first in case there is some health-cause, medications do not always alleviate the panic attacks, especially long term, and those prescribed with anti-psychotic medication are on the road to further problems resulting from the consistent use of chemicals that eventually have a permanent negative effect on the brain.

I am not a doctor or a professional person, but I am a person that lived with panic attacks and have overcome them. I’ve had to read information and misinformation from sources that proscribe to know about panic attacks but they don’t. People give so many varied points of view on how one should deal with them. Persons that have panic attacks not only have to deal with the panic attacks, they have to deal with people who have a lack of understanding and arguments at the same time.

There are now simple techniques you can learn to help you stop panic attacks quickly and easily and eventually cure panic attacks completely. These techniques have been tested and proven through research and actual application to stop panic attack quickly and effectively.

The deep breathing technique (also called diaphragmatic breathing) is a very important technique to learn if you what to quickly know of how to stop a panic attack. The challenge now is when you are experiencing anxiety, focusing on proper deep breathing can be very difficult task. The deep breathing technique requires you to breathe directly from your diaphragm and is the type of deep breathing you do during meditation. This technique is simple and anyone can practice it when you begin to feel the symptoms of panic attack.
I’ve included a link if anybody wants to really get to know more about techniques and how to stop the panic attacks completely and for good. I’ve been there so I wish all those on the search the best, and I offer lots of optimism because this affliction can be overcome.

Good Luck

The wrong kind of love

Posted by admin on Jul 22, 2009 under Panic Love

A lot of people have the wrong kind of love and don’t even know
it. If you are experiencing any of the following issues I have
listed in this article, then you definitely have that wrong kind
of love. You can try to fix it, if you have the time and
patience, and if you think that there is something special about
your guy. But if all you are getting from him is lots of
heartache, then it is time to dump the load that is weighing you
down and move on. Now let’s get to it. If you have any of the
following in your current relationship, you have a serious
decision to make:

Your man verbally abuses you on a daily basis – Does your man
get his high from berating you every chance he gets? He tells
you how you just don’t know anything – you are dumb, fat, and
stupid. He has no regard for your opinion or feelings about any
subject. Even when you go out of your way to prepare his
favorite dish for him, he never has anything positive to say. If
this is the kind of man you have in your life, you need to think
seriously about finding a healthy relationship – one that builds
your self-esteem and values what you bring to the table. As a
result of the verbal abuse, you may have developed anxiety
attacks that make your life a living hell. According to the
creator of the Linden Method that guarantees to cure anxiety
attacks, Charles Linden, “You aren’t going mad, you are one of
20 million people in the USA alone who suffer with ANXIETY
DISORDER and/or PANIC DISORDER and if that is the case, I
promise you that this is the most important website you will
ever find.”

From time to time, he physically abuses you – If he gets angry
and pushes or slaps you around to let you know he is the boss,
you absolutely do not have the right kind of guy. Now bear in
mind that some guys are able to change this behavior, but you
must give your particular situation some serious thought. Start
by getting professional help.

Just because he apologizes and tells you he loves you with all
his heart, after beating you into a pulp, does not mean he loves
you. If this is his way of expressing his love for you, then you
don’t want this kind of love. You could wind up in a ditch
somewhere, if you are not proactive about changing your
situation. Access the link above now, do not waste one more
minute.

He feels he is doing you a favor by staying with you – Does he
make you feel that he is doing you a favor by being with you? Is
your love life starting to feel like “Sympathy Love?” When you
cry about how he is treating you, he feels bad and hangs around.
Stop it. If your guy cannot love you for who you are, then there
is absolutely no reason why you should continue that kind of
relationship. Your guy ought to be happy to be with you. If he
is not, then you ought to let him go. You will be better off
when you finally find a man that derives joy from fulfilling
your heart’s romantic desires.

He never makes any effort to spend quality time with you – It is
common sense that people want to spend time with those they love
and care, while staying far away from those they despise or
barely tolerate. What it boils down to is this; if you have to

force him to make time for you, especially when he is not too
busy with work, then that is a big hint that he does not want to
be around you. Don’t wait around to be hit with a big stick for
you to get it through your head.

He flirts with other women in your presence – This is one of the
worst forms of disrespect. Flirting with another woman in your
presence is a rude and crude way of letting you know that what
you feel or think is immaterial. It is a way of telling you, “If
you like, you can leave me or you can stay, but I will do what I
want with whoever I want.” There is no way you can have a happy
relationship without respect.

He goes out on the weekends and comes home the next day – This
is worse than flirting with another woman in your presence. If
this happens often then that is a strong clue that he is having
an affair and really wants to move on with his life, but doesn’t
quite know how to verbalize it.

He is constantly trying to lie his way out of a lie – This one
ties right into the last point – coming home the next day when
he goes out on weekends. If he is telling a lie to get himself
out of the last one he told, then it is time for you to move on,
unless of course you want to drain your energy and enthusiasm
for life with a loser. Before you go, you can do some detective
work yourself to get the hard evidence you need to bust him and
his lies.

He is not supportive of your goals and aspirations – If he is
not supportive of your goals and aspirations, it means that he
does not value you or what you want to do with your life. Love
cannot last when one party’s dreams and goals are the only ones
being pursued, discussed or nurtured.

No matter how bad your situation is, you can change your
situation. Learn how to get your man to fall madly in love by
getting a copy of Passion Keys at smartwomansguide.com. You will
learn the quickest way to take romantic relationship to a whole
new level.

If you are unsure if your current relationship can be salvaged,
try to get the objective opinions of trusted family members.
Often times they are able to help you decide whether to stay in
your relationship and work things out or simply grab your bag
and turn a new leaf. If you do make the decision to move on, you
want to make sure you do not jump into the arms of the next
sweet-looking devil you run into. You can’t afford to make the
mistake of having lightening strike you twice. Looks can be
deceiving. Just because a man looks gentle and acts like he has
princely manners, does not mean he is a nice guy. Bad guys know
how to act nice, until they know you have fallen in love with
them.

Take your time to get to know the next guy you want to be
romantically involved with. Find out who he really is, and not
who he appears to be.

Panic Away? Linden Method?

Posted by admin on Jul 20, 2009 under Panic Scams

Anyone got a Panic Away review?
Is Panic Away scam?
Is Panic Away sucks?
Do Panic Away work or do the one move technique work?

I feel like I want to buy Panic Away.

But I would like to know if Panic Away works or do Linden Method works?

And…
Do Linden Method work? Is Linden Method scam? Anyone got Linden Method Review also?
Does Linden Method’s Amygdala scam or real?

If compare Linden Method and Panic Away – which one is better?
Is there an unbiased comparison of Linden Method and Panic Away?

Oh yes. I have panic attacks since I was young. I’ve tried 2 of the programs before so I can give you a personal unbiased review of the Panic Away and Linden Method.

Both programs uses CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) to cure panic attacks. But they are different from what Psychologist or Psychiatrist uses.

Also, the 2 programs uses DRUG-FREE approach to eliminate panic attacks. Do you know that Prozac harms more than good? Their side-effects are horrible and many people become dependent on them.

The good thing is, you can download panic away or download linden method instantly once you’ve decided to purchase it.

When I have used both programs together, it really has helped my panic attacks a lot. I used to have at least 5-8 Panic Attacks per week. Now I only had like 1 every 2-4 months or so. That is a big improvement!

If you want to learn more about the contents of Panic Away or the contents of Linden Method, or if you want to learn what is the one move technique or what is Linden Method’s solution, just visit the source to learn more.

What is the difference between a panic attack and an anxiety attack ?

Posted by admin on Jul 18, 2009 under Panic Attack

What is the difference between a Panic Attack and an anxiety attack ?
I’ve been suffering from panic attacks and wanted to find out more about it and how it links with anxiety attacks.

Thanks in advance.

I’m definatly no expert and to be honest, ive had my fair share of anxiety.

Take anxiety as the feeling of not wanting to go to work tomorrow because your fearful of what your boss may say about your work, take panicing as the feeling of being in that situation and feeling a sudden state of adrenaline and wanting to flee the situation

As you may know, theres a difference between panicing and anxiety, anxiety is usually described as an overwhelming fear or can be a long term worry. Panicing is usually a state where by the person will feel overpowering anxiety and will usually feel extremely fearful and want to get away from the situation as quickly as possible.

So, the main differences between a panic attack and an anxiety attack i would say are the intensity of the two. Panic attacks usually give you a rush of adrenaline and gives you that urge to flee from the situation, anxiety attacks can sometimes be described as the same, but sometimes just described as sudden feeling of fear or depression from fear without the feelings to flee or evade the situation.

I hope this helps.

Where to start for anxiety, depression panic help?

Posted by admin on Jul 4, 2009 under Panic Patiences

I don’t have health insurance so my options are limited. Where does one go for prescriptions for treatment? Do you simply go to your regular MD at a walk in clinic and tell him or her you suffer from depression and anxiety? Will they write the script, or will they make you go to a shrink? Who provides the meds? It has become quite apparent to me, that with these meds it is a crap shot at best as to what works for each client. Most people seem to have to try two or three combos, or meds before they get it right, so why does it really matter? I know for 100% fact I have depression and the anxiety is obvious. So how easy is it to get started with some help? I have not the patience, or resources to go to $300 weekly shrink visits.

I’ve had this problem for years. Taking charge of your own health in addition to your doctor is a must. Recognising that you are depressed is a good start. My family doctor has worked with me to get the medication right. I’ve switched med’s through out the years, I think because our bodies and circumstances change, too. So, expect to have to work with the medicine. Having said that, you do need to see a doctor. It would be a good idea to have a friend recommend one so that you can see the same doctor again or at least be in the same practice on the next visit for the records. We have a "First Health" clinic that has payment plans and reduced rates for people like us w/o insurance and low income. It’s actually very nice. I also get my medicine at canadadrugs.com at half the price I would have to pay at the local drugstore. You’ll have to fax, e-mail your script and then mail it in. It does take about 2-3 weeks to get them, so ask you doctor for enough samples to get you by until they arrive. I would give the first medicine a good month to see how it works, so samples at first are a good idea because you have to order a minimum through canada and you’ll want to make sure those are the ones that are going to work for you. Tell your doctor that you would like a drug that tackles depression and anxiety, both. Also, when you do decide to try a drug, long term, and you want to get it online, make sure they write the script at least 100, to cover the minimum order requirements. Good luck!

Signs And Symptoms Of Panic Attacks

Posted by admin on Jul 1, 2009 under Panic Symptoms

Some of the most serious signs and symptoms of panic attacks can be quite frightening and at times can even lead the person experiencing the attack to believe they might be dying. It is not at all uncommon for an individual suffering from a panic attack to believe they are going crazy, losing control or about to have a heart attack due to the severity of these symptoms. One of the first steps to overcoming panic attacks; however, is learning to recognize these signs and symptoms.

In the quest to overcome these attacks, it is also important to understand the dynamics of panic attacks. For example, the presence of a panic attack itself could be an indication of the medical condition Panic Anxiety Disorder. While not all symptoms indicate the presence of an attack, there are numerous signs and symptoms that are commonly associated with panic attacks. It is important to be aware that in some cases medical ailments could produce the same signs and symptoms of a Panic Attack. A life threatening situation could also produce similar symptoms; although, this type of situation could also certainly precede a panic attack as well.

Panic attacks typically last about ten or less. For the person experiencing the attack this can feel like an eternity. Generally, the attack will reach its maximum intensity level within about a minute or so of the attack beginning. Over a period of about half an hour the symptoms of the attack will begin to gradually diminish. It is important to keep in mind that in some cases it could take several hours for the symptoms to completely diminish.

In some cases, panic attacks can occur as a single incidence with no recurrence. In other cases, attacks may happen more frequently; even up to several times per month. Typically, the severity of the signs and symptoms of the panic attack will vary.

Symptoms associated with panic attacks include:

 Feeling extremely stressed
 Experiencing a sense of paralyzing fear
 Hot flashes
 Sudden chills
 Choking sensation
 Chest pains
 Tingling in the fingers or toes
 A fear that you are dying or going crazy
 Difficulty breathing
 Feeling as though you can’t get enough air
 Racing heartbeat
 Feeling dizzy, lightheaded
 Experiencing a feeling of dread,
 Nausea
 Trembling, shaking or sweating
 Feeling nervous

The mere presence of one or even two or three of these symptoms does not necessarily indicate a panic attack has occurred or even that an individual suffers from Panic Disorder. As previously discussed, there could be another reasonable explanation for the presence of the symptoms, such as an entirely different medical condition.

Not all individuals suffer from the same symptoms each time they experience a panic attack. During one attack one set of symptoms may be present while another, different, set of symptoms may appear during a subsequent attack. In addition, it is likely that the severity of the signs and symptoms of panic attacks may range from one attack to the next as well.
